Naval Air Systems Command yesterday awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts to 19 small businesses for program management support services, according to a Defense Department announcement.

The award is part of NAVAIR's new services contracting vehicle created after the command opted to not use the Navy's larger, upcoming services contracting vehicle SeaPort Next Generation.

"Services to be provided include leading, facilitating, and ensuring the strategic planning, implementation, coordination, integration, and evaluation of programmatic activities and administrative systems for NAVAIR," the announcement said.

The estimated aggregated ceiling of all the contracts is $960 million, and work will be completed by June 2023.
