With re-organization plan finalized, Pentagon moves to implement acquisition reforms

The Pentagon, having settled on a re-organization plan for its acquisition offices, is now able to focus on implementing a series of buying reforms mandated by Congress in recent years, likely leading to a revision of the policy directing the defense acquisition system, according to a Defense Department official.
