Vectrus reports improved sales and profit

Vectrus said this week sales during its most recent quarter hit $321 million, up 24 percent from the same three-month period a year earlier.

The contractor's quarterly profit reached $9.2 million, up about 68 percent from the prior year.

Vectrus attributed the sales boost to growth within its base business as well as its acquisition of SENTEL.
