Congress approves $49M realignment for Bradley replacement prototypes

House lawmakers have denied half of the Army's request to transfer funds to purchase Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle prototypes. The Army asked to shift $98.6 million in existing funds to produce three sets of experimental prototypes of the Bradley replacement, OMFV, for manned-unmanned teaming evaluations and to test the utility of a two-man crew.
