AeroVironment reports sales boost, profit decline

AeroVironment reported this week sales in its most recent quarter hit $73 million, up 11 percent from the same three-month period a year earlier.

The company attributed the sales boost to an increase in services revenue; product sales declined by about $1.3 million.

AeroVironment said quarterly profit reached $6.1 million, down about 22 percent from the prior year.
