Mercury acquires GECO Avionics

Mercury Systems said this week it has acquired Mesa, AZ-based GECO Avionics.

"The acquisition of GECO is expected to complement Mercury’s previous acquisitions of Creative Electronic Systems, based in Geneva, Switzerland, and Richland Technologies, based in Duluth, GA," the company said. "Combined, these three acquisitions will significantly expand Mercury’s footprint in mission computing and platform management."

GECO technologies are deployed on the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter and the KC-46A tanker, among other military platforms, according to Mercury.
