USAF looks for boosts in missile procurement, hypersonics research

The Air Force is seeking to expand its missile inventory and hypersonics research, according to its fiscal year 2020 defense budget request. The service is requesting increased quantities of the Small Diameter Bomb I, SDB II and Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile-Extended Range to “supply current operations and replenish stockpiles."
