Army ramps up Future UAS funding to develop multiple variants

The Army's Future Unmanned Aircraft System program receives a drastic funding boost in the service's fiscal year 2020 budget request as the program takes shape, a main effort under the service's Future Vertical Lift priority. The service's FY-20 research, development, test and evaluation budget justification documents show a 700 percent increase in FUAS funding projected for FY-20 through FY-23 over the amount forecast in last year's request.
