DOD proposes $15M 'secure cloud' for contractors to protect data

The Defense Department wants $15 million in fiscal year 2020 to set up a secure cloud services database where small and mid-sized defense contractors can access sensitive defense information, potentially negating the need for them to manage and protect the data on their own networks.
