Raytheon announces new presidents of RMS and IDS

Raytheon said today it has named Wesley Kremer president of Raytheon Missile Systems, succeeding Taylor Lawrence, who will retire July 14.

The company has also named Ralph Acaba president of Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, succeeding Kremer.

Both appointments are effective March 30. Lawrence will serve as a senior adviser before retiring.

Kremer, who will be based at RMS headquarters in Tucson, AZ, joined Raytheon in 2003 and was named president of IDS in 2015. He spent 11 years in the Air Force as a weapon systems officer.

Acaba came to Raytheon in 1986 and has held multiple leadership roles, including director of the Patriot Systems business and director of maneuver protection programs. In 2013, he was named vice president of Raytheon's integrated air and missile defense portfolio within IDS. In 2017, Acaba was appointed vice president of Raytheon program management excellence. He will be based at IDS headquarters in Tewksbury, MA.
