Vertex Aerospace opens office in UAE

Vertex Aerospace, now a standalone company owned by a private-equity firm, said today it has established a regional office in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The company early this year formed Vertex Global Aerospace to “globally offer Vertex's complete solutions for aftermarket aerospace services for government and commercial clients.” Abu Dhabi marks its first regional office.

L3 Technologies announced last year it would sell Vertex to American Industrial Partners. According to Vertex, it now has annual sales of more than $1.2 billion.

The company said it has contracts in Kuwait and plans to expand its presence in the Middle East and African regions.
