Oshkosh names Pfeifer COO

Oshkosh said today it has appointed John Pfeifer to the newly created chief operating officer role, effective May 1.

He previously was president of Mercury Marine, which provides marine propulsion systems. Pfeifer will oversee Oshkosh's commercial business portfolio, including its access equipment, fire and emergency and commercial segments.
