Pentagon reprograms funding for DISA to take over 'Sharkseer' cybersecurity program

The Pentagon has realigned funding so the Defense Information Systems Agency can take over management of the "Sharkseer" cybersecurity program from the National Security Agency, in line with a congressional mandate. In a March 28 internal reprogramming action , the Defense Department realigned $1.96 million in fiscal year 2019 operations and maintenance funding from NSA to DISA so the latter can assume the Sharkseer program.
