Pentagon again seeks to restrict bid protest process

The Pentagon, as in previous years , has sent Congress a legislative proposal to impose bid protest timeliness rules at the U.S. Court of Federal Claims that would mirror those at the Government Accountability Office, with the intent to reduce decision times and block contractors from lodging protests with both entities. Current law allows contractors to file a protest with GAO and, if the protest is denied, file again at the Court of Federal Claims. A summary of the proposal...
