JDAM contract extension includes FMS to Middle Eastern, European, Asian countries

An alteration to a multibillion-dollar contract for Joint Direct Attack Munition tail kits announced last month includes foreign military sales to Middle Eastern, European and Asian countries. The Defense Department said in a June 14 notice that the modification -- which extended the contract by five years and tripled its potential value -- involved foreign military sales to unknown countries. Those countries are Morocco, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Israel, Belgium, Finland, Slovakia, Taiwan and Japan, Air Force...
