The Air Force expects to complete fleetwide retrofits to the KC-46 tanker’s cargo locking system by March 2020, the program office confirmed this week. The service in September halted cargo and passenger flights for the new tanker after identifying a problem with its cargo lock during a pre-initial operational test and evaluation event.
