Air Force picks Raytheon for FORGE data processing segment

The Air Force this week selected Raytheon to develop a data processing framework for its Next-Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared ground system -- an effort the company hopes will provide a pathway to future satellite ground services work. The service is awarding contracts for the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution program in three parts -- mission data processing, command and control and relay ground station.
