KBR reports profit growth in government solutions business

KBR said today sales in its government solutions business during its most recent quarter totaled $955 million, down 2% from the same three-month period a year earlier.

The unit’s quarterly profit hit $127 million, up 41% from the prior year.

The company said its board and chief executive are taking a voluntary 15% salary reduction in the second quarter of 2020, while the KBR leadership team is taking a 10% reduction.
