ManTech International's chief executive said yesterday that less than 20% of the company's workforce is facing a situation where they may not be able to work full-time because of coronavirus-related access restrictions.

In a call with analysts Wednesday evening, Kevin Phillips said many within that group are still able to do some work.

"We have . . . a group of people who are either working full-time within that 20% or 30 hours a week or 20 hours a week or 10 hours a week -- and those are the new baselines from which they're going to start gradually ramping back up," he said. "Generally, less than 20% of our workforce is in some mission-ready state for some part of their time."

Meanwhile, ManTech said this week sales in its most recent quarter totaled $611 million, up 22% from the same three-month period a year earlier.

The company's quarterly profit hit nearly $29 million, up 36% from the prior year.
