Lockheed Martin said today it has achieved its goal of flowing $450 million in accelerated progress payments from DOD to its suppliers.

The company said it also, separately, accelerated $156 million in payments to suppliers before receiving enhanced progress payments from the Pentagon.

Lockheed said it is still actively seeking to hire for about 4,600 roles and has hired 2,365 new employees since the coronavirus crisis began.

Additionally, Lockheed said it has now completed three corporate jet flights in support of COVID-19 relief. This week, the company worked with the Department of Health and Human Services to move National Disaster Medical System personnel from Puerto Rico to Maryland.

"Additional flights are expected in the coming weeks," Lockheed said.
