Kratos reports sales increase

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions said today that during its most recent quarter it recorded sales of $169 million, up 5% from the same three-month period a year earlier.

The company reported a $200,000 loss for the quarter, down from a $3.1 million profit the prior year.

Kratos said it invested about $1.8 million in research and development, primarily in new software-based and open space platforms and technologies for its space and satellite communications business.
