New reprogramming would shift USAF funds to support bomb production, counter-UAS

The Air Force is asking lawmakers to approve a funding transfer to support additional production efforts for general purpose bombs and integrate counter-small unmanned aerial system software into enterprise systems. The requests are part of the Defense Department's omnibus reprogramming action, obtained by Inside Defense, which former acting Pentagon Comptroller Elaine McCusker signed and submitted June 23.
