Booz Allen Hamilton said today sales in its most recent quarter were just shy of $2 billion, up about 7% from the same three-month period a year earlier.

The contractor reported quarterly profit of $129 million, up 10% from the prior year.

In a call with analysts today, Horacio Rozanski, Booz Allen's chief executive, said the company is "operating at pre-pandemic levels essentially."

"By and large, the demand environment continues to be very strong and clients are, if anything, even more focused on bringing technology to bear," he said. As government agencies have moved to telework, "this has also unearthed some needs in their networks, in their systems for cybersecurity, for cloud, for a number of things."
