Lockheed reveals Aerojet Rocketdyne on NGI team, giving Aerojet a lock on a winning bid

Lockheed Martin today disclosed it has teamed with Aerojet Rocketdyne on the Next Generation Interceptor competition, effectively guaranteeing Aerojet Rocketdyne a spot on a winning bid. In addition to Lockheed , Aerojet Rocketdyne is also teamed with Boeing for the NGI competition , the Missile Defense Agency's program to counter future North Korean -- and potentially Iranian -- intercontinental ballistic missile threats to the United States.
