Army announces additional JLTV buy prior to re-compete

The Army is planning to buy more Joint Light Tactical Vehicles than the currently contracted quantities before a fiscal year 2022 re-compete, due to previous-year cost savings, according to the service. An Oct. 15 industry notice states the Army intends to award Oshkosh Defense either a sole-source contract or contract modification for additional JLTVs.
