PAE agrees to buy Metis Solutions

PAE said today it has agreed to acquire Metis Solutions, which specializes in intelligence analysis, operational and tactical training and program management, for about $92 million in cash.

The Arlington, VA-based Metis has more than 450 employees, most of whom have top secret clearances.

PAE said the deal will expand PAE's work in intelligence analysis and training and program support. It will add more than eight strategic contract vehicles and position PAE with new customers in intelligence and defense agencies.

This is just the latest acquisition for PAE, which less than a month ago announced it would pay $208 million for CENTRA Technology, which focuses on intelligence support, information analytics and engineering services.
