Lockheed Martin said today that effective Dec. 1, Michele Evans, who heads the aeronautics business, will take a temporary leave of absence "to address health issues unrelated to the coronavirus pandemic."
While Evans is on leave, Gregory Ulmer, who oversees Lockheed's F-35 program, will serve as acting head of aeronautics, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company says he will stay in that role "until such time as Ms. Evans is able to resume her responsibilities."
