President-elect Biden's transition team has visited several key national security locations this week to prepare for the new administration.

Jonathan Hoffman, the Pentagon's chief spokesman, said Biden's team this week has conducted site visits and briefings at the National Reconnaissance Office, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

The Pentagon has dismissed earlier reports that Biden's team was blocked from touring the agencies, citing procedural delays.

Hoffman said the Defense Department has also completed 43 transition interviews with members of the Biden team, including briefings with about 100 senior Pentagon leaders.

The Pentagon also completed 45 requests for information, 13 of which are classified. Hoffman said DOD lawyers are "noodling" with 34 additional requests.

The Pentagon has also completed 43 transition books and released 2,200 pages of documents, including 250 of which are classified.

"We're going to continue supporting the transition fully and professionally," Hoffman said.

Meanwhile, President Trump took to Twitter to call for the democratic election he lost to be "overturned." Trump's legal team has been unsuccessful in challenging vote counts in several states and the Supreme Court has rejected an effort to throw out the results of the presidential election in Pennsylvania.

The Electoral College is slated to cast final votes from state-certified elections on Dec. 14. Biden is scheduled to take office Jan. 20.
