The Army today released a request for proposals for the concept design phase of the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle program after restarting the competition earlier this year, service officials told reporters today. The service decided to recompete OMFV, which will replace the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, after receiving just one approved bid from General Dynamics Land Systems during the initial prototype selection.
