USAF ramping up software cybersecurity defenses after SolarWinds breach

Air Force Chief Software Officer Nicolas Chaillan has demanded a heightened defense posture following the recent massive SolarWinds breach and warns the service is bound to be a major target for cyberattacks in the years ahead. However, wary of possible calls to abandon commercial partnerships, Chaillan is advocating instead for more transparency into businesses’ security practices.
