TransDigm Group said today it has agreed to sell its ScioTeq and TREALITY Simulation Visual Systems businesses to private-equity firm OpenGate Capital in a deal worth about $200 million.

TransDigm said it acquired the businesses two years ago through its acquisition of Esterline Technologies.

“The businesses develop and manufacture advanced visualization solutions primarily for the global defense, air traffic control, and security end markets,” the company said.

Together, they have about 450 employees and operate mainly from Belgium with other U.S. locations. In the most recent fiscal year, they produced sales of $135 million.

The deal is expected to close later this year.
