USAF looking to restore LRSO funding after FY-21 budget cut

The Air Force is aiming to restore the nearly $90 million Congress cut from its fiscal year 2021 budget proposal for the Long-Range Standoff Weapon after the service pushed one of its two main contractors out of the program. The FY-21 Defense Appropriations Act allocated $385 million of the $474 million the Air Force requested to develop the nuclear-armed cruise missile, and the program now plans to seek the lost funding in FY-22 or FY-23 to maintain its initial operational...
