Air Force awards Northrop 3DELRR integration contract

The Air Force has chosen Northrop Grumman as a second integrator for the Three Dimensional Long-Range Radar recompete effort, awarding a contract late last week. The $4 million integration contract, awarded Sept. 17, includes options to produce up to 35 radars. The Air Force awarded Lockheed Martin an $8.5 million integration contract in March, which also included production options. At the time, the service left open the possibility it would issue a second contract to either Northrop or Australian company...
