FLRAA's capabilities could push into some Chinook roles

NASHVILLE, TN -- The Army's UH-60 Black Hawk replacement might be able to perform some missions that currently require the CH-47 Chinook cargo helicopter, thanks to the new aircraft's extra range and performance, according to the leader of the Army's Aviation Center for Excellence.
