Navy will build new sub dry dock at Pearl Harbor, advancing SIOP efforts

The Navy has selected a plan for the construction of a new submarine dry dock and waterfront production facility at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard to support maintenance of current and future classes of attack submarines. A Record of Decision published Friday announced the selection of Alternative 4, the service’s preferred alternative, from five options evaluated in the project’s final environmental impact statement (EIS) .
