F-35 power module backlog cleared, JPO says

A critical shortage of power modules for the F-35's engines has ended, a Joint Program Office spokesman confirmed to Inside Defense . The module shortfall, which previously caused long queues for maintenance and threatened to render an increasing number of jets non-mission-capable, was overcome in November, according to JPO spokesman Russell Goemaere. “The shortage of power modules has been alleviated, and there is no longer a backlog.
