Bush says Army is 'absolutely prepared' to ask for new competition if IVAS 1.2 fails in testing

Doug Bush, the Army's top acquisition executive, told Congress during a hearing Tuesday that the Army would consider a new competition for the 1.2 variant of the Integrated Visual Augmentation System if testing is not successful. In March 2021, the Army announced it had awarded Microsoft the IVAS contract worth nearly $22 billion .
