Coast Guard Delays Key Review for Fast Response Cutter

Due to technical concerns, the Coast Guard has delayed the critical design review for its Fast Response Cutter (FRC), which was originally scheduled for early this year, according to a Coast Guard spokeswoman. Mary Elder, a spokeswoman for the service's Deepwater program, told Inside the Navy this morning the delay will postpone the delivery of the first FRC, which was originally slated for 2007.
