DSB Task Force Suggests Renewed Emphasis on Nuclear Weapons Policy

A powerful Pentagon advisory board has called upon Defense Secretary Robert Gates to create a new position within DOD focused solely on nuclear weapons issues, along with shifting control of some of the Air Force's nuclear assets to U.S. Strategic Command.
