House, Senate Conferees Call for Missile Defense Policy Review

House and Senate authorizers want the next administration's defense secretary to conduct a review of U.S. ballistic missile defense policy and strategy. The review is called for in the fiscal year 2009 defense authorization bill agreed upon this week by House and Senate conferees. The conferees expect the new defense secretary to submit the review no later than Jan. 31, 2010.
