REPORT URGES 'RENEWED EMPHASIS' ON RDT&E AT MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY

The Missile Defense Agency should put "renewed emphasis" on research and development for ballistic missile defense systems while transferring the responsibility for operating and maintaining key programs to the services as quickly as possible, according to a report by the Institute for Defense Analyses.
