Carter Circulates New DSB Report Advocating Acquisition Reforms

New Pentagon acquisition chief Ashton Carter this week circulated the findings of a new Defense Science Board report that advocates a new Defense Department "business plan" and strengthening leadership among the acquisition workforce. Carter took over as under secretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics April 27. The following day, he sent senior defense officials the report, "Creating a DOD Strategic Acquisition Platform," which offers potential paths forward for Pentagon acquisition reform efforts.
