Air Force: No pre-defined penalty for KC-46 tanker delivery delay

Despite holding the KC-46 tanker's required assets available milestone as a key deadline for the struggling program, the Air Force said this week it is unclear whether Boeing will face a penalty for missing the milestone by more than a year. The service said June 2 that because the KC-46 contract "does not contain predefined penalties" for schedule delays, it's unclear what contractual repercussions Boeing might face after announcing last week that it will miss the RAA requirement to deliver...
