Armed Bell Boeing V-22 Demonstrates Forward-Firing Attack In November Tests

As the Marine Corps looks to arm its tilt-rotor MV-22 Osprey aircraft, Bell Helicopter has announced the successful demonstration of two attack capabilities on the platform. Raytheon's Griffin B missile and the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS), a laser-guided rocket launcher produced by BAE Systems, were successfully demonstrated on the V-22 during live-fire tests last month.
