Navy may make decision on 25 percent HQs reduction in August

The Navy could make a decision on a 25 percent management headquarters reduction as soon as late August, according to an information paper obtained by Inside the Navy . The 2016 National Defense Authorization Act, signed into law on Nov. 25, 2015, requires the Pentagon in each fiscal year through FY-20 to establish a specific savings objective for each major headquarters.
