Boeing this week said it has named Greg Hyslop, who became Boeing's senior vice president for engineering, test and technology in March, to the chief technology officer role.
He will succeed the retiring John Tracy, who became CTO in 2006. Hyslop's appointment is effective immediately.
Hyslop will retain the senior VP role. He previously served as general manager of Boeing Research & Technology, the company's research and development group. He also has worked as vice president and general manager of Boeing Strategic Missile & Defense Systems. Hyslop joined the company in 1982.
