Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham is expected to announce an interim chief for the National Nuclear Security Administration "in the next few days," an NNSA spokeswoman said today. The official would be a temporary replacement for existing NNSA administrator John Gordon, who has been tapped for a job with the National Security Council to help coordinate the nation's counterterrorism activities.
