Advocacy Group Says NMD Deployment Will Have Destabilizing Effects

If the United States moves ahead with a National Missile Defense system, the move will have a destabilizing effect on arms control agreements around the world and could trigger responses from foreign countries that increase the threat of missile attack against the United States, according to a new report issued by the Council for a Livable World.
