Air Force Awards Pre-EMD JSTARS Recap Contracts Ahead Of Schedule

The Air Force has issued $31.4 million in contract awards to Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Boeing for pre-engineering and manufacturing development of the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System Recapitalization program. The three companies will assess technology maturation, support risk reduction and lower life-cycle costs, according to an Aug. 7 Air Force announcement.
