Air Force FY-18 budget request sheds light on nuclear missile TMRR awards

The Air Force's fiscal year 2018 budget request appears to solidify plans to award one company a technology-maturation and risk-reduction contract for the Long-Range Standoff Weapon and contracts to two companies for the same phase in the Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent program. The service has publicly stated both programs could award up to two TMRR contracts in late FY-17 to Boeing, Lockheed Martin or Northrop Grumman, which are vying to build the LRSO and GBSD as the Air Force's two legs...
